Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos Share Tributes to Son Michael As He Turns 22

Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos shared sweet tributes to their eldest son, Michael, as he celebrated his 22nd birthday on Sunday, June 2.

“Happy Birthday @michaelconsway ♥️ talented, handsome, smart, kind, and 22. You started this whole thing!” the Live With Kelly and Ryan host, 48, captioned a video on Instagram along with 10 gold stars.

The clip, with “Nussun Dorma” by Luciano Pavarotti playing in the background, showed the couple’s eldest son in snapshots through the years with his parents, siblings Lola, 17, and Joaquin, 16, and friends.

She also posted several photos on her Instagram stories of Michael and his birthday twin Andy Cohen, who turned 51 on Sunday. (The Watch What Happens Live host celebrated his first birthday as a daddy to son Benjamin, who he proclaimed on his own Instagram post was the “best birthday present of all.”)

Consuelos, 48, also posted a tribute to his son, sharing two cute photo booth snapshots that were taken in Australia in 2002. “Happy 22 to our #[email protected]’ve led the way…We love you. So proud of you.”

Michael, who is the spitting image of his dad, plays the younger version of Mark’s Riverdale character, Hiram Lodge.

“Working with my son was probably one of the most exciting things I’ve gotten to experience,” Mark told Esquire in April. “It was emotional for me, to see him practicing his lines and coming to set. He was so earnest about it. It really was a bucket-list moment for me.”

Michael, who majored in film and TV production at NYU, is no stranger to the spotlight, having appeared on Live several times and voicing characters in Go, Diego, Go! and Duck Dodgers as a kid. He also worked as a production assistant on three episodes of The Goldbergs last year.
