Looking back! Nikki Reed shared a nude pregnancy throwback photo on Mother’s Day, with her baby bump on full display.
“Motherhood changed me forever,” the actress, 30, wrote on Instagram on Sunday, May 12. “It is the greatest thing I’ve ever known. Growing a human, birthing a human and raising a human takes a village, and I am forever grateful for the women who make up this village. I lean on you, I call on you, I am here for you as you are for me. Being a mama is my favorite thing in the world.”

Motherhood changed me forever. It is the greatest thing I’ve ever known. Growing a human, birthing a human and raising a human takes a village, and I am forever grateful for the women who make up this village. I lean on you, I call on you, I am here for you as you are for me. Being a mama is my favorite thing in the world. I am more proud of this kid than I am of anything else in my life. It kicks my ass and makes me love deeper than I ever knew I could. I am eternally grateful for this journey and all the beautiful Mamas who inspire me everyday.

The Twilight star added: “I am more proud of this kid than I am of anything else in my life. It kicks my ass and makes me love deeper than I ever knew I could. I am eternally grateful for this journey and all the beautiful Mamas who inspire me every day.”
In the throwback photo, Reed cradled her budding belly from behind a plant, wearing only a pair of dangling earrings.
This isn’t the first time that the California native has shared a nude picture from her pregnancy. “2017 you changed me forever,” she captioned a photo taken by her husband, Ian Somerhalder, in 2018. “You made me understand what it means to be human. You made me a mom. You made me a true believer in a love I’d only ever dreamed of.”
The BaYou With Love creator welcomed her daughter, Bodhi, in July 2017. Reed told Us Weekly exclusively about how she and the Vampire Diaries alum, 40, balance parenting with their successful careers.
“I’ve always had many things that I feel incredibly passionate about, as does Ian,” the O.C. alum told Us in April. “We’re both really passionate people and we both have a lot going on all the time, so I think that being supportive of the other person’s dreams and aspirations and passions is important and it’s something that we practice.”
She and the actor tied the knot in Topanga Canyon in 2015.
