EMMERDALE fans claim paedophile Maya Stepney will return PREGNANT with Jacob Gallagher’s baby and send Leyla Harding to prison.
Leyla told Jacob that she killed Maya after discovering she had been abusing her son – but fans aren’t convinced she's really dead.
On Monday, Jacob (Joe Warren Plant) returns from Portugal and comes face to face with a distraught Leyla (Roxy Shahidi), who decides it’s time to tell her son the truth.
Jacob and Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) were caught out in dramatic scenes when Priya Sharma spotted them kissing outside of a club as the villagers headed to Hotten for a night out a couple of weeks ago.
Priya went on to tell Leyla and Tracy Metcalfe what she’d seen, causing Leyla to trick an unsuspecting Maya into a car.
It’s unclear exactly what happened next but Maya has been missing ever since.
Now fans have come up with their own theory on how the plot plays out.
One person said: "Layla is bluffing. No way Maya is dead. I'm still going with pregnant. #Emmerdale"
Another fan said: "Either Leyla went back and finished Maya off after the others went home OR Maya told her she was pregnant and that's why Leyla is so determined they don't tell David or Jacob anything. #Emmerdale"

On Monday, Leyla told Jacob she killed Maya after finding out what had gone on.
Crying she told him: “I know that your head must be spinning right now. You have no need to be embarrassed. She is never going to hurt you again.”
Confused, Jacob replied: “She never hurt me, you don’t know anything about us!”
Hitting back she told him: “Jacob that woman was a monster.”
Jacob retorted telling her he couldn’t stop them, but she replied ominously: “I can and I already have. She’s dead. I killed her.”
Those watching at home weren’t sure they believed her though and took to Twitter to comment on it.
One wrote: “Leyla killed Maya for real? Or is she just saying that so Jacob'll FINALLY give up on her? #Emmerdale #BigNightOut .”
