It’s at this point that Ziggy walks in on the heated exchange, and quickly intervenes to defend Dean. Not surprising, considering the fact that the last time she saw Brody and Simone together she ended up punching her husband in the face, and Dean made an effort to get her out of a slump on her 21st birthday by organising a celebration for her.
She tells Brody that Dean is a better man than he will ever be, leaving Brody and his new woman to leave with all the dignity they can muster. Left by themselves, Dean and Ziggy can only think about the previous night, where Dean rejected her romantic advances and said they shouldn’t sleep together. Will their own relationship get back on track?
