BEN Foden as admitted he'll always love his ex-wife Una Healy and regrets cheating on her in candid admission on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The rugby ace, who announced his divorce from Una on dating app Bumble last August, is in a new relationship with gym bunny Miriam Murphy.
Speaking on tonight's Stand Up To Cancer special on Channel 4, Ben admitted: "My life's a bit of a mess. I'll always love Una. She's my first love and the mother of my kids. I never meant to hurt her in the way I did.
"I think it's quite appropriate to do a course like this to put some perspective on everything."
Love rat Ben previously insisted his infidelity was not the only reason for their divorce.
The sportsman and the pop star announced their split last summer amid claims that Foden had cheated on his wife during her second pregnancy.
However, Foden has confirmed that he was unfaithful.
And he claimed he deserves all the negative publicity, saying: “at the moment anything that’s published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so because I was the one who committed adultery.”
In an interview with the Guardian, he revealed: “At the same time, it wasn’t the only reason for our divorce to go through.
“It’s not ideal, but we’re very amicable, we’re getting through it, we’re not the first people in the world to get divorced. We’ve got two little kids we adore.”
Foden, 33, tied the knot with former Saturdays star Una in Ireland in 2012. The pair have two children, daughter Aoife Belle, six and Tadhg, four.
The family had planned to relocate to the US last autumn as Foden had signed for New York team Rugby United.
Yet their plans were left in tatters after Una discovered his infidelity.
Foden continued with the move while Una has remained behind, dividing her time between the UK and Ireland.
The flame-haired stunner has also found love again with Irish hurling star David Breen. After initially keeping their romance under wraps, she recently took to social media to share snaps of them together.
Meanwhile, Foden is enjoying career success in America, but he admitted the move stateside has been difficult because he misses his family.
He explained: “It’s hard because I’m away from my son and daughter.
“But I know they’re in a great and loving environment with Una because she’s a great mum. We never argue about that.”
The sports star was left red-faced last year when it emerged he had set up a profile on dating app Bumble just weeks after his split from Una.
Yet he has now revealed that his estranged wife actually set up the account with him, explaining: “I picked up Una from the airport a couple of weeks after we’d first been here, and we were sort of joking about dating.
“So I loaded up Bumble, and we did the profile together, joking around.
“And then I realised something dodgy was going on with it and the next day it was all over the paper.
“It’s not ideal, but at least I can laugh about it and especially so with Una. If she hadn’t known about it I can see it would have been a bit of a knife in the back.
“But we were messing around, so we can laugh and she can call me a bit of an idiot.”
