Chrissy Teigen and John Legend just took their marriage to a whole other level — the matching couple’s tattoo level.
Teigen revealed on Thursday that she and her EGOT-winner hubby got matching tatts in honor of their children, Luna Simone, 2½ and Miles Theodore, 10 months. Each got the same matching cursive script along the inside of their arms, with Teigen’s reading, “John – Luna – Miles” and Legend’s featuring the names, “Chrissy – Luna – Miles.”
“Hey guys please don’t talk to us unless u have tattoos we are a cool tattoo family now and we only want to talk to other tattoo families (srry if this seems harsh),” Teigen captioned the pic of the couple’s fresh ink.
She also thanked the L.A.-based tattoo artist, Winter Stone: “Thank you thank you @winterstone. You are not only incredibly talented but you are very kind and delightful and welcome over any time!!”
Winter Stone is known for his A-list clientele, which includes Lady Gaga, Mandy Moore, Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Miley Cyrus and Emma Roberts.
In addition to the family-themed tattoo, Teigen got a second tatt featuring a tiny heart on the inside of her index finger.
Teigen and Legend follow the celeb-loved trend of getting matching couple body art. Beyoncé and Jay-Z got matching Roman numeral IV tatts on their wedding day, representing their birthdates and wedding day, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have matching butterfly tattoos and Steph and Ayesha Curry have matching greater than/less than symbols as a reminder to stay in the present.
Teigen regularly shares photos and updates of their children on Instagram, most recently posting a photo matching in printed dresses with Luna, and shared just how much Miles is his dad mini-me, with the singer recreating Mile’s pose.
“Wow they grow up so fast,” she wrote alongside the pic of Legend.
Most recently, Teigen opened up about her weight and revealed that she’s 20 lbs. heavier than before she had Miles, but doesn’t mind the change one bit. “Just coming to terms with my new normal, when I had this certain number for so long! The thinnest I’ve ever been was right after Luna. Postpartum depression,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’LL TAKE THESE POUNDS AND THIS FEELING!”
She went on to explain that right now she’s thoroughly enjoying being a mom.
“This is a new thing that I can change within my mind, that I don’t have to be swimsuit model anymore,” she said. “I get to be a mommy, and I get to cook, and I get to meet incredible people, and I’m happy to be going through this transition.”
