Don’t come between a man and his Dunkin’! Ben Affleck admitted in a recent interview that the national coffee chain is his vice.
“It’s amazing!” he told Collider Opens a New Window. website of the brand.
In fact, the Oscar winner, 46, loves the Massachusetts-headquartered company so much, he indulges in it 365 days a year. “I have Dunkin’ Donuts every day. It’s very weird,” he quipped. “I have it every day and people are always like, ‘Where is that? Is that near here?’ So, I feel like I’m spreading the word.”
The Good Will Hunting star, who moved to Massachusetts from California at the age of 3, didn’t even give up his daily java runs while doing the 10-day diet challenge that went viral after his ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez and her current beau Alex Rodriguez gave it a go.
Affleck told his Triple Frontier costar Charlie Hunnam during a Today show appearance earlier this month that while he managed to stick to the “No bread, no sugar, no dairy,” requirements of the challenge, he fell short in the caffeine department. “[There’s] supposed to be no caffeine, I cheated on the caffeine a little bit I have to say,” he confessed.
The Justice League star admitted that he did feel better afterward. “I did it, I feel better, you know it gives you a little … it’s awful for the first couple of days, because I’m definitely somebody who likes bread and sugar. But … it’s one of those things where it’s terrible, you get through it, and you’re, ‘Oh, I feel pretty good!’” he said.
He continued: “Of course, by the end of the 10 days … I had three bagels.”
The recently engaged Lopez, 49, and Rodriguez, 43, also celebrated the end of their challenge with food: The couple had a massive feast, which they documented on Instagram, that consisted of meat, rice, roasted veggies, salad, buffalo wings, pizza and more.
