PADDY Kirk is in for a shock in Emmerdale next week when his biological dad – wrestler Bear Wolf – crashes back into the village.
His return comes just as Paddy – played by Emmerdale legend Dominic Brunt – and girlfriend Chas Dingle nervously prepare for their 12-week scan and Paddy decides to build a garden in memory of their dead daughter, Gracie who died shortly after birth.
As the couple head home from the hospital with good news on their unborn baby’s health, they’re overwhelmed to find the villagers have finished the memorial garden for them.
Paddy then assures Chas he’ll go through hell and high water to make sure she has a peaceful pregnancy with no stress.
But it looks like he’s spoken too soon as they’re both suddenly alarmed by an almighty crash from outside the bar.
Chas and Paddy rush out to see what’s going on and are aghast to find Bear Wolf has crashed into Gracie’s garden.
Will he repair the damage? And why is he even back in the village?
Emmerdale fans were delighted when Chas revealed she was pregnant again after tragically losing baby Grace last October.
The tot was born with a condition called bilateral renal agenesis which meant some of her vital organs failed to develop properly in the womb.
Chas and Paddy were left devastated when they were told their daughter’s condition meant she could not survive for very long once she was born.
The Woolpack landlady – who is played by Lucy Pargeter – revealed she was expecting in an all-female cast and crew special episode of the ITV soap which was made in honour of International Women’s Day.
Chas revealed her happy news to Laurel Thomas as they bumped into each other while visiting the graves of Grace and Laurel’s son (but actually not her son) Daniel, who passed away from cot death at the age of six months.
Viewers were in tears at the touching scenes and took to Twitter to share their emotions.
One wrote: "Chas being pregnant has got me in tears #Emmerdale"
