The daughters of actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli are putting their future plans on the back burner amid their parents’ alleged involvement in the high-profile nationwide college admissions scandal, a new report said.
Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli, 19 and 20 respectively, are apparently more concerned about their parents’ well-being than completing their education, a source told People.
“Although classes have resumed at USC, Olivia and Bella are not back at school,” the source said. “They don’t plan to return to USC. Right now, they are just focused on getting through this ordeal.”
“The girls are not talking about future plans,” the insider added. “They are more focused on what’s next for their parents. They are living in the moment and that’s all they can do right now. For them, this is all still a nightmare.”
Both have decided to drop out of USC because they’re afraid of being bullied over the scandal.
The career of Olivia Jade — a beauty vlogger who has amassed nearly 2 million followers on her YouTube videos — took a major hit last week when Sephora cut ties with her as the scandal became public.
“She feels she has worked very hard to get different work deals and everything is just gone,” a source previously told the outlet. “She thought she knew what the future had in store for her, and it all just crumbled.”
She had previously shared paid advertisements for the makeup company on her YouTube videos, and launched her Olivia Jade x Sephora Bronze & Illuminate Palette in collaboration with the company back in December.
Her sister, Isabella Rose also boasts more than 260,000 Instagram followers on her coveted @bella Instagram account.
Prosecutors allege in court papers that Loughlin and Giannulli “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.”
Loughlin, who played Aunt Becky on the sitcom “Full House,” Giannulli, and “Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman are 50 people indicted in connection to the massive scheme. Husband and wife were released on $1 million bonds. Huffman was released on $250,000 bond. None of them have entered pleas.
