The evening was being hosted by Dr Nicholas Cullinan and Edward Enninful to raise funds for the National Portrait Gallery's 'Inspiring People' project.
Supermodels Kate Moss and Jourdan Dunnwere also dazzled, while the royal count was upped by Princess Beatrice with her property developer boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi – seen together in public for the first time today.
British Vogue editor Edward Enninful was also in attendance, along with other big hitters from the world of fashion.
This was Kate's second engagement for the day after visiting the Henry Fawcett Children's Centre in Kennington earlier on.
