Rosa Rivera, 28, stabbed Aleyda 15 times in the back, before driving her to an Orlando hospital in Florida on Sunday.
The mum found her daughter in a house in the early hours of Sunday morning with a man she accused of having sex with her daughter.
The Orlando Sentinel reported Riviera then knifed her daughter in the car afterwards “to prevent (Aleyda) from having sex with other men.”
A police report said: “Rivera stated she stabbed her daughter while in the car, and while stabbing her she was attempting to make her more comfortable.”
When she arrived at the Winnie Palmer hospital Rivera brandished the knife at hospital staff before she was restrained by security.
Riviera later admitted she had never seen Aleyda having sex and that her daughter denied she did it too.
She now faces first-degree murder and is being held at the Orange County Jail.
