Keith Flint filmed jumping into Prodigy crowd to hug disabled fans

Amazing footage shows the iconic Essex singer, found dead at his home in a suspected suicide yesterday morning, bounding up and down with insatiable energy at a concert in Finland in 2016.

The video, unearthed by NME, shows the rave pioneers performing at Qstock festival in Oulu.

Suddenly Flint leaps over metal barriers and clambers into the crowd to greet his fans.

Astonishingly, the musician once dubbed "the world's scariest man' is seen jumping up and down before high-fiving and warmly hugging three Prodigy-lovers in wheelchairs, who smile starstruck as their friends film the occasion.

The iconic 90s musician was the face of the rave band and took centre stage on their best-known hit Firestarter, the single which launched him as an icon.

Flint was performing just last month in New Zealand on a world tour set to run until May.

It's thought his estranged wife, Japanese DJ Mayumi Kai, was in Japan at the time of his death.

'HEARTBROKEN'

Bandmate Liam Howlett, who founded The Prodigy with Flint in their hometown of Braintree, Essex, paid tribute, saying: "The news is true. I can't believe I am saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend.

"I'm shell shocked, f****** angry, confused and heart broken r.i.p brother."

The star's devastated family asked for privacy at the star's rural home in Great Dunmow, where they were being supported by police.

Musicians have joined fans in paying tribute to a "gentleman", who rapper Dizzee Rascal described as "one of the nicest people I've ever met".

Keith had spoken candidly about his drug use and battles with depression and in several interviews had hinted that he would consider taking his own life.

His death came two days after he was pictured in the 5k Chelmsford Central Parkrun, where he achieved a personal best.

They reached Number 1 in the UK singles charts with Firestarter and Breathe in 1996 and released their seventh consecutive number one album in November last year.

Broadcaster Jo Whiley was one of thousands to pay tribute at the tragic news, tweeting: "Oh this is sad news. The death of Keith Flint.

"Whenever our paths crossed he was an absolute sweetheart. Really lovely. Incredible iconic frontman with a soft centre. #RIPKeithFlint."
