Police are searching for the ‘Phantom Pooer of Tolworth’ after a man was spotted on CCTV defecating in the streets of south west London at least three times.
Tolworth Police shared a picture of the suspect on their Twitter account but bizarrely covered the man’s face with an emoji.
In the image shared on Friday afternoon, the man can be seen adjusting his blue jeans and wearing a denim shirt as he walks along a road.

Tolworth Police shared the picture and said: ‘The Phantom Poo-er of Tolworth has struck again. We understand getting caught short but this is the turd time.’
It is thought that they took the unusual move to cover the man’s face and post the image on social media in a bid to shame him into coming forward.
Their cringe-worthy post was littered with puns but did add that enquiries into the incidents are ongoing.
