“My Dad Hates Me:” Bebe Rexha’s Father Really Did Not Like Her Racy Video for “Last Hurrah”

Bebe Rexha posted a text from her father who apparently was not at all happy with her racy music video for her current single “Last Hurrah.” The video blends elements of bdsm sexuality, religion, simulated sex, and lots of subversive innuendo. Billboard reported that the video was removed from Youtube’s trending list after it was flagged for “sensitive” content.

“You better stop posting pornography because you make me sick,” Bebe’s father wrote in a text that Bebe briefly reposted on her Instagram Stories and then deleted. “You make me sick,” he continued, “I can’t take this anymore. Bebe also posted her own take — “My dad hates me” — before deleting that too.

However, when her fans began blasting her father with all kinds of hate messages, Bebe pushed back. “Don’t talk s**t about my dad!!!,” she tweeted.

Later, TMZ caught up with Bebe at LAX, where the singer explained that she was heading home to New York try to patch things up with her father. “He didn’t like the video,” she told the media outlet. “The video is a lot.”

She also admitted that, in hindsight, she probably should not have posted his emotional text. “He might have said something a little heated in the moment,” she conceded. “I feel dumb for showing the screenshot.”

Below we have Bebe’s IG post and tweet, as well as video of her conversation with TMZ at LAX. We also have the video for “Last Hurrah,” for those who have not yet seen it.
