Has The Greatest Showman 2 got a release date?
On February 22, The Sun's Dan Wootton exclusively revealed that Hugh Jackman has begun working on The Greatest Showman sequel following the great success of the first movie.
Director Michael Gracey said: "When a movie becomes as big a success as this, it’s only natural there is demand for a sequel.
“So those discussions have started and we are working on one right now.”
There isn't a specific release date just yet as the movie hasn't materialised in any way just yet.

Who will be in the cast?
Hugh Jackman is expected to lead the cast, so his fans will be happy to know that he will be back on the big screen before long.
However, the involvement of his co-stars Michelle Williams, Zac Efron and Keala Settle is unclear.
Though it is very likely that the acclaimed songwriting duo Pasek and Paul – behind hits including This Is Me and Never Enough – will be involved.
Why did critics hate The Greatest Showman?
Director Michael Gracey told Dan Wootton: "There were huge doubts about it for a very long time and some backers withdrew their money.”
A Hollywood source added: “The critics hated it and it was predicted to be a massive flop. But then people power took over and there hasn’t been a box office sensation like it in years.”
The film has proved to be a fan-favourite ever since its release in 2017 and reportedly made $435 million in the box office.

Celebrating the birth of showbusiness, we saw a visionary who made something of himself despite his disadvantaged background.
The troupe came together a show that made them become a worldwide sensation, thus the title The Greatest Showman.
