Jenna Jameson is opening up about her tough IVF battle that ultimately brought her daughter Batel.
“Yes, I’m an IVF warrior. Our sweet Batelli was conceived through modern medicine. Truth be told, IVF is one of the hardest things I’ve endured,” she captioned a 3-split photo of herself that showed her during IVF, 8-months pregnant and 2-years postpartum. “So much emotion, stress, fear, pressure, pain and anxiety. The hormones wreak havoc on your body for months prior to transfer and the fear of the unknown is encompassing.”
Jameson was 43 when she and husband Lior Bitton started IVF, nearly nine years after she welcomed twins Jesse Jameson and Journey Jette with Tito Ortiz.
“I felt I had little time. I felt it may be my last chance,” she continued. “I knew what I was getting into since I had a successful twin IVF pregnancy. But I was MUCH younger then.”
(She and Ortiz split in 2013, and Ortiz was granted full custody of the kids.)
“After everything,” Jameson, now 44, wrote, she and Bitton had one “perfect embryo” that turned out to be Batel.
“She was worth every shot, every cry and every push,” Jameson wrote. “I felt compelled to talk about my age, IVF and how you can do this too. Never lose hope. Always trust in G-d. He has beautiful plans for you.”
Since welcoming her daughter, Jameson has publicly documented her post-baby diet, which is a combination of keto and intermittent fasting. Trainer Jillian Michaels and a registered dietician have come forward to slam Jameson’s diet.
