Double trouble! The Hills alum Doug Reinhardt Opens a New Window. and his girlfriend, Mia Irons, revealed they’re expecting identical twin boys at a gender reveal party on Saturday, February 16.
Reinhardt’s mother, Kelly Roberts, and sister Casey Beau Brown — who starred on Laguna Beach — threw a glamorous celebration for the couple at Brown’s Newport Beach, California, home.
When it came time for the big moment, Reinhart, 34, held onto a big blue balloon, while Irons had a pink one. As the guests counted down, they each stuck the balloons with a pin, unleashing a storm of blue confetti that elicited loud cheers and Reinhardt throwing his fists in the air and kissed his baby mama after she was hugged by her son from a previous relationship.
“Blessed beyond measure w/ the magic of IDENTICAL TWINS, due this Summer!” Irons, who has been dating Reinhardt for a year, captioned a video of the special moment on Instagram on Saturday. “Something so rare that I can’t even believe we’re this lucky to hit the odds of 0.3%?! This pregnancy was our 2018 Christmas surprise, ironically finding out just a few weeks after Koby met Santa & wished for nothing BUT a Brother. Today we waited to find out exactly who was coming into our life! Thank you @caseybeaubrown for throwing us an amazing party, you’re incredible! @dougreinhardt, I never met a man so driven & hopeful to nurture & also start a family. We’ve created such an amazing family life together, thank you forever! We got 2 IDENTICAL BOYS coming! BOYS! Wow my heart is so full! I can’t wait! I love you all! Thank you for coming & celebrating w/ us!”
Reinhardt also shared a video on Instagram, simply writing, “to the boys and @mia.kaena #twins.”
The MTV star, who previously dated Paris Hilton Opens a New Window. , Lauren Conrad Opens a New Window. and Amanda Bynes Opens a New Window. , married Natalie Sutton in October 2017 but the pair split last year. Sutton was arrested in Paradise Valley, Arizona, in April for allegedly assaulting her estranged husband with one of his crutches (he was recovering from an ALC operation on his knee at the time). She was charged with felony assault and battery, according to TMZ. The former Los Angeles Angels player filed for divorce two days later.
The Blast reported Opens a New Window. in June that Reinhardt and Sutton agreed in their divorce settlement to “destroy their embryos” that were being stored at a reproductive center in Beverly Hills.
