The Sun Online can reveal the GC is in discussions to return to the reality show after taking a break to film Dancing On Ice.
“Gemma’s heart has always been with Towie – it’s where she got her big break and she feels incredibly loyal to the show,” an insider tells The Sun Online.
“She’d love to go back – she’s got so many friends in the cast – but it’s all about fitting it into her schedule.
“She’s constantly busy and if she’s back on Towie, she wants to give it her all. The problem is that Towie is all about the cast’s lives, and her life isn’t normal anymore.
"She can’t be in the Sugar Hut talking about how she's working in her shop when her fans know she wasn't, and instead she was shopping in Harrods with her Dancing On Ice mates.
“But she loves the show, loves the team and wants to return next series.”
Since her Dancing On Ice exit last week, Gemma’s been inundated by offers – and can now charge up to £13,000 per HOUR to make personal appearances.
She also appears regularly on Loose Women, Good Morning Britain and This Morning, and runs Gem’s Boutique in Brentwood.
Gemma also works with clothing brand BooHoo.
Gemma joined Towie back in 2011 when she sold Kirk Norcross a car, but announced she was leaving the show in 2015.
She re-joined the following year but announced she was taking a break last year to concentrate on filming her spin off show.
