Milestone moment! Ali Fedotowsky‘s 8-month-old son, Riley, said his first word, and the former Bachelorette got the little one to speak on camera.
“You guuuuuuys!!!! Riley said his FIRST WORD today!!! Eeepppppp! And he’s been saying it all day long now,” the blogger, 34, captioned a Wednesday, February 6, Instagram post. “It’s the cutest thing ever! Swipe it see/hear! I’m not even upset that it’s not ‘mama.’”
In the video, the reality star’s husband, Kevin Manno, asked his baby boy to say “dada” — and he did! The mother of two could be heard in the background, yelling, “Yay!” Fedotowsky also shared a sweet shot of her son to start, sporting a white onesie and a huge smile.
Catherine Giudici, fellow member of Bachelor Nation, showed her support in the comments. “He’s a genius!” she wrote.
Fedotowsky and Manno, 35, welcomed their son in May 2018. “Our sweet boy has arrived!” the ABC personality wrote on Instagram at the time. “Born 5/24, 12:57am at 21.5 inches and weighing 8lbs 11oz. We are so grateful and bursting with love!”
She announced her little one’s name one day later. Riley joined the couple’s daughter, Molly, who was born in 2016.
The Massachusetts native hasn’t just kept her fans up to date on her baby boy’s major moments, but has opened up about her postpartum body progress as well.
“When I look at myself in the mirror I can’t help but notice that my hips are wider than they used to be, my wrinkles are deeper than when I was in my 20’s, and my stomach has lumps and bumps that didn’t used to be there,” she captioned a selfie on Instagram in November 2018. “My wrinkles are deeper because I’ve spent countless sleepless nights making sure my kiddos are cared for, fed, and loved. And my belly is extra squishy because it spent 18 months making sure two sweet little babies had a place to call home.”
She added: “Sometimes what we see as ‘flaws’ on the outside, are actually what make us stunningly beautiful on the inside.”
