And she's about to set the stage alight with Little Mix at this year's Brits. Meet Ms.Banks…

Who is Ms Banks?

Ms Banks is a British rapper from South London.

She was born on 14th April 1994 – making her 24 – and is of Nigerian and Ugandan descent.

Ms Banks was born as Thyra ( with a silent H) but chose her stage name because of American supermodel Tyra Banks.

The rapper is best known for her songs Yu Zimme, Hood B***, and Bangs.

And grabbed the attention of Nicki Minaj, who tweeted lyrics to her song Yu Zimme.

She's even rumoured to be collaborating with her on a track.

On the Capital XTRA show, Ms Banks let slip: "All I'm saying is… when it drops, it drops. It's amazing. We've spoken about a lot, and a lot of things are happening."

As well as counting Nikki as a fan, Ms.Banks supported Cardi B on her UK tour.

Last year viewers were left in stitches when he asked Cheryl Tweedy and Liam Payne if they had a sex “safe” word.

The artists expected to perform at the event are:

  • The 1975
  • Calvin Harris
  • Dua Lipa
  • Rag'n'Bone Man
