Top picks for Friday, February 8: Show Me the Movie, Caso Cerrado, Octopussy

SHOW ME THE MOVIE
Series return ***
7.30pm, Ten

It's not a terrible idea: keeping The Living Room on hiatus while Chris Brown is in the jungle and various other Ten personalities are busy with various other Ten projects – and dropping this likeable confection into its place. Rove McManus and Joel Creasey return, with Brooke Satchwell bringing a bit of bite in place of Jane Harber. The action kicks off tonight with Dave Thornton and Nikki Osbourne going hard for team Brooke, while Joel Creasey gets some help from Kate McCartney and Tiriel Mora.

Show Me The Movie!

CASO CERRADO
New series ***
10.55pm, SBS Viceland

Unfortunately the subtitled version of this factual/reality series wasn't ready in time to preview but it looks absolutely delicious. Each week Ana Maria Polo – the Hispanic answer to Judge Judy – adjudicates quarrels between couples. But as this is a Spanish-language show from Telemundo, the home of telenovellas, these are domestic disputes times 10. For instance in tonight's second episode, a husband and wife end up in court because it turns out he staged his own kidnapping and now she wants the ransom money back. Crazy.

OCTOPUSSY
Movie ***
8.50pm, 9Gem
