Parenthood can be tough no matter who you are – and celebrity parents are opening up about the inevitable ups and downs of raising their kids. Whether that’s adapting to a new schedule or trying to maintain an affection relationship to their partner, celebrity parents experience the whole roller coaster of emotions with their kids, too.
Country music singer Dylan Scott opened up to People Now about the big lifestyle change that came with the birth of his now one-year-old son, Beckett– but also the impact it has on his music.
“Now that Beckett is here, the daddy songs are coming out,” Scott said. “There’s a song called ‘3 A.M.’ The things you do at 3 A.M. now are different than what you did before having a kid.”

And all jokes aside, any new parent can attest to how difficult it can be to keep the spark alive with your partner when you’ve got busy newborns to attend to.
“There was a point in that first 4 months of having kids I thought I had ruined our relationship,” Scott Blokker admitted, opening up about the struggles he and his husband, celebrity fitness trainer Shaun T., faced when trying to navigate their new parenthood to twin sons, Sander Vaughn and Silas Rhys.
Although Shaun T. agrees it started out as a “nightmare,” they were able to work through their fights with honest conversations, and they have advice for other parents experiencing the same challenges.
“Before you have children make sure you have really open honest communication,” Shaun T. said. “What is your superpower, how can you bring these strengths to raising these children.”
