Appearing on the show to find out if partner Leigh had been cheating on her, Zoe revealed he had been guilty of telling her a very big lie in the past.
Asked what he'd put her through, Zoe told Jeremy that Leigh turned a trip to the supermarket into a fake kidnapping.
Zoe – who was 36 weeks pregnant at the time of the incident – dished: "He told me he'd been terrorised.
"He was going to get acid thrown on him if I didn't pay the ransom.
"He said they'd said if I didn't do it they were going to harm me and my baby."
Jeremy then clarified that the ransom fee was a measly £80.
Fretting about her unborn baby's safety, Zoe then transferred the money – which actually belonged to Leigh, but was held in her bank account – and called the police.
She recounted: "I had armed forces at the door with guns. Our telephone got bugged.
"I had police from Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, London – it was a £30,000 operation."
Of course, they were all shocked when Leigh rocked up back at the house at half 1 in the morning.
She explained: "They wouldn't let him back in the house, they said they were arresting him.
"They were prosecuting him for wasting police time."
Leigh subsequently spent the next eight weeks in jail – a punishment that meant he missed their son's birth.
