Who is Katie Boulter, how tall is the Australian Open beauty and is she dating Wimbledon doubles champion Jack Sock?

Leicester's Katie Boulter is making a name for herself on the Grand Slam circuit – and the 22-year-old is already making a splash at this year's Australian Open.

Who is Katie Boulter?

BORN in August 1996, Boulter took up tennis when she was just five and was representing Great Britain just three years later.

By the time she was just 11, Boulter was winning tournaments abroad including the Lemon Bowl in Rome and Florida's Junior Orange Bowl.

Since turning pro in 2014, the British star has emerged as one of the most exciting talents in the country and has won won five singles and four doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit.

2018 was her most successful year to date, with a Wimbledon win over Veronica Cepede Royg catapulting her into the public eye.

And she's continued her form on the grass to the hard courts in 2019, setting up a second-round Australian Open showdown with No11 seed Aryna Sabalenka after beating Ekaterina Makarova.

Boulter is currently ranked No97 in the world, and demonstrated a love for fashion when she appeared in Vogue last year.

She was signed up by KIN Partners, the agents of the former England captain David Beckham, and the Paris-Saint Germain and Brazil superstar Neymar shortly before the tournament.

How tall is she?

A WILLOWY and athletic player, Boulter doesn't necessarily look built for power on the court.

But she packs a punch with her forehand and is coached by Jeremy Bates, the former British No1.

She stands 5ft11 tall, or 1.80m.

Is she dating US tennis star Jack Sock?

BOULTER was rumoured to be in a romance with the American star when Sock's doubles partner Mike Bryan posted a photo of them holding hands at Wimbledon.

Sock has previously dated Michaela Burns and 2017 US Open champion Sloane Stephens.

But the pair kept any potential relationship under wraps and it's not known if they are officially an item.

Boulter said before Wimbledon last year: "I’m completely focused on my work right now and that’s it. Maybe one day [I'll have a boyfriend] after I retire, hopefully."
