Nicki Minaj will reportedly lend her voice to a character in the upcoming animated movie, Angry Birds Movie 2, in an unspecified role.
The Thurop Van Orman-directed Angry Birds sequel will hit theaters on August 16, 2019, to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the video game that the movie is based on.
The film will be co-directed by John Rice.
This is not the first time Nicki Minaj has worked as a voice actor. She previously lent her voice to characters in Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Cleveland Show and Cartoon Network’s Stephen Universe.
The 36 year old rapper also acted in Barbershop: The Next Cut and The Other Woman.
Meanwhile, she is set to embark on European tour in February with Juice Wrld.
