I'm really hot on one at Cheltenham and have duly unloaded the Jamieson millions on Nicky Richards' beast.
GUITAR PETE (1.55) has been trained with a defence of his Caspian Caviar Gold Cup crown in mind.
The eight-year-old was a somewhat fortunate winner of the contest 12 months ago, when Starchitect looked sure to win before sadly breaking down.
But he was in the process of running a huge race anyway and scampered clear up the hill to win convincingly.
He is only 4lb higher this year and ran a lovely prep race when third in the BetVictor on the Old Course at this venue last time.
This race is run on the New Course, which he seems to prefer, and he receives lumps of weight from his main rivals.
Top northern trainer Richards could hardly be in better form – six of his last seven runners have found the back of the net.
This will be run at a relentless gallop, and the race could just fall into the lap of the likeable gelding.
