I’m A Celebrity bosses have been forced to make a big change to this year’s Celebrity Cyclone because of John Barrowman.
The Doctor Who star was removed from camp and rushed to hospital last week after spraining his ankle.
John was able to take part in the Rotten Retrieval trial earlier this week but had to wear a black bin bag over his injured foot.
However, producers had no other option but to alter Celebrity Cyclone because the physical exertion would be too much for John.
The celebrities have to climb up a hill carrying a giant foam star to a certain point while being hit by high pressure water cannons, gail-force winds and giant balls.
In order to make sure John is still part of the popular trial, which is consistently viewers’ favourite, the task team have changed his role.
Speaking on Extra Camp, one of the team revealed that they had created a special position for John.
He said: "We’ve had to adapt it because of John’s sprained ankle. We’ve made a special role for him.
"John’s the keeper of the stars. He has to solve a puzzle to release the stars, throw them to the other three and they’ll then take on the course."
When the klaxon sounds for the trial to start, John is seen standing at the side of the hill next to some poles.
He has to twist the stars off before throwing them to his fellow campmates as they attempt to ascend up the hill.
"Come on Harry," shouts John as the former West Ham and Spurs manager jumps off the twister into a pool of water.
After tossing the star, John shouts encouragement while Harry tries to make his way forward.
Holly Willoughby asks: "Have you borrowed Nick Knowles’ pants?"
John starts laughing as Harry struggles to move forward as gallons of water forces him back.
Harry shouts: "I want a wee John. I want to have a wee."
Confused John tells the football manager to "keep going" as the clock is ticking.
It all gets too much for Harry when he gets smashed on the head with a ball and ends up slipping over.
Holly will also brave Celebrity Cyclone tonight when she takes on her first EVER Bushtucker Trial.
The presenter will join Scarlett Moffatt, Joe Swash and Joel Dommett on ITV2’s Extra Camp tonight at 10.15pm to take part in the trial.
Will Holly and the Extra Camp team do better than the celebrities?
I’m A Celebrity airs tonight on ITV at 9pm
