Wilder vs Fury prize money: What is the purse for the HUGE world title fight?

The Bronze Bomber is hoping to make a seventh defence of his WBC world heavyweight title – while the Gypsy King will be a brute in the ring, and show his kinder side outside of it.

What is the prize money?

The fight is expected to draw incredible crowds and scores of money from tickets and pay-per-view sales.

Wilder will take the larger chunk of the purse, raking in $14million (£10.94m) from the showdown.

To put that into perspective, the Bronze Bomber was guaranteed just $2.1m in his last fight against Luis Ortiz and has made as little as $900,000 for a title defence.

Meanwhile, Fury will take home a cool $10m (£7.82m), over 50 per cent more than the £5m he earned for that spectacular night against Wladimir Klitschko.

But the Gypsy King won't be taking his big cheque to the bank – rather straight to homeless charities when he gets back home.

How does Anthony Joshua compare?

Anthony Joshua has constantly been a side topic during the build-up to this fight.

Wilder and AJ failed to agree terms – but there is no doubt that the British star can secure a big payday.

In his last outing against Alexander Povetkin, Joshua was believed to take home a handsome sum of £20m.

That is the same for his win over Joseph Parker to add the WBO belt to his collection, while his stunning victory against Wladimir Klitschko saw him leave with a reported £15m.
