And over the years its famous residents have shed the pounds without much thought thanks to a diet of beans, rice and Bushtucker Trials' cockroaches – here are the most shocking weight loss transformations in the history of the hit ITV show.
Last week, current camp mate Emily Atack, 28, revealed she'd already slimmed down after a week of living off rations.
But last year's stars lost a whopping 38kg – or six stone – between them across the entire series.
These include 2017 winner Georgia Toffolo, 24, who lost 4kg during her stint before she was crowned Queen Of The Jungle.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun's Bizarre column, she said: "I feel really skinny.
"I had small boobies anyway and [now] I [look] down and I [am] completely flat!"
Her fellow camp mate Jamie Lomas also look remarkably thinner by the time he flew home from Australia.
The Hollyoaks star, 43, shifted 9.5kg during his time in the jungle, which saw him at one point consume just a single proper meal in nine days.
He told Good Morning Britain: "I'm half the man I was when I went in there. The biggest challenge for me was the hunger."
Last year's series also saw the physique of Amir Khan, 31, dramatically altered too.
Just two weeks on scant jungle rations left the boxer looking substantially slimmer.

Likewise, ex-footballer Dennis Wise, 51, looked completely different when he was greeted by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly on exit.
In fact, many have suggested the former Chelsea captain underwent one of the most stark transformations in the show's history.
The winner of the 2016 series, Scarlett Moffatt, 28, also surprised viewers with her much lither frame.
Just days after the Extra Camp presenter left the jungle she revealed she had dropped to a size 8.
In 2013, Joey Essex, 28, shocked fans with a topless selfie that showed off his 1.5 stone weight loss.
The former Towie star revealed shortly after leaving the camp that he was making up for it by consuming plenty of McDonalds.
Back in 2004, Katie Price, 40, also left the jungle looking much thinner.
And Strictly star Ashley Roberts looked significantly more tiny by the end of her time in the camp.
