Strictly's Neil and Katya Jones reunite on the dancefloor to teach Boyzone to dance for Children In Need sketch

The Irish boyband will compete against one another during Friday's telethon, having been put through their paces by the Strictly professionals.

Despite the fact that Neil, 35, and wife Katya, 29, haven't danced together on the show since her drunken snog with celebrity partner Seann Walsh in October, the couple were all smiles as they rehearsed together with the four singers.

Katya has been paired with Mikey Graham, and while Neil won't be performing on the night, new pictures show him playing a key part in their training.

The dancer showed the group – which also consists of Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch – how to work with a cane, as well as posture and positioning.

As he demonstrated the moves, Katya could be seen smiling broadly at him from across the room, proving the couple are intent on moving past the Seann-related drama.

Boyzone are taking part in the Children in Need Strictly Special – which airs this Friday – as they release their final album and prepare for their last ever tour.

Shane will partner with Luba Mushtuk while Keith will dance with Nadiya Bychkova and Ronan will partner with new dancer Gordana Grandosek.

Meanwhile The Sun Online exclusively revealed yesterday that Katya will reunite with Seann, 32, for the Strictly final next month.

The news will be a huge disappointment for Neil, who probably hoped the shamed comedian was gone for good.

Strictly insiders tell The Sun Online that Seann is set to return to the show’s final episode to dance with Katya – just weeks after he was booted off the series.

“Neil will be gutted as when Seann was voted off the show, he was glad to see the back of him,” says the source.

“Since he went, the atmosphere backstage has improved and Neil has been visibly happier.

“Things are back on track in his marriage – so he’ll be gutted when Seann is back on set.”
