The pair were not happy about how their fresh cuts were depicted on the smash-hit video game.
Manchester United star Lingard tweeted the Fifa 19 game developers directly about his in-game avatar.
The 25-year-old told them to update his haircut, then the Palace forward got involved unhappy that his trim had not been updated for the new edition too.
Lingard was previously represented with saved sides, while Zaha's dreadlocks were not present in the recently released game.
However, EA has now updated their titles to give the players their correct haircuts, and both gave the makeovers a virtual seal of approval.
The England international wrote on Twitter: “Finally after all these years.”
Zaha also tweeted his appreciation: “About time.”
They are two of 50 players and managers whose avatars have been updated for the latest version of the game.
After Juventus in the Champions League, United and Lingard head to the Etihad for the Manchester derby.
While Zaha and the Eagles will look to bounce back after losing at Chelsea when they face Tottenham at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
