Dean Ambrose finally breaks silence after turning on Seth Rollins

Dean Ambrose has at long last aired his frustrations at former pal Seth Rollins as the pair clashed at a WWE show in England.

Ambrose shocked fans by turning on his Shield comrade Rollins just seconds after the two had won the Raw Tag Team Championship last month.

The pair defeated Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, only hours after emotionally-charged scenes that saw their ‘brother’ Roman Reigns vacate the Universal Championship.

The Samoan superstar was sadly forced to step away from the ring to focus on his real-life battle with leukaemia.

The trio embraced on the stage after Reigns’ heartbreaking announcement, which had supporters around the world in tears.

But Ambrose would later stab Rollins in the back – before leaving him high and dry this Monday in Manchester, when he had to defend the titles against Authors of Pain – all on his own.

The Architect would go down valiantly as AOP claimed the gold, in a moment that had fans reeling at what was effectively a double betrayal by The Lunatic Fringe.

Up to now, Ambrose has been largely silent on just why he chose to turn his back on Seth – stopping short of providing an explanation after he was beaten by AOP.

The 32-year-old instead chose to attack his former friend once again, hitting the bewildered Intercontinental Champion with his Dirty Deeds finishing move.

But the pair would do battle a night later at a WWE event in Leeds, before which Ambrose let rip on why he so freely surrendered his part in a tag team title reign.

"If you’d have just asked nicely, I might have just come out to help you," fumed Ambrose before the match. But no, you’re too stupid and you’re too selfish!

"You wanted to do it all by yourself, and how did that work out for you?

"Lucky for you, tonight isn’t gonna be like last night, because I don’t give two cents about your stupid championship.

"All I care about tonight is beating your ass!"

The bout, for Rollins’ Intercontinental title, ended in brutal fashion as he retained via disqualification when Ambrose struck a low blow and delivered Dirty Deeds.
