Big Brother crowns its last-ever winner on Channel 5 as viewers say an emotional goodbye to the reality show

Big Brother said an emotional goodbye tonight (November 5) as it aired its last-ever final on Channel 5 and crowned what could potentially be the show’s last winner.

That prestigious title went to Cameron, with Akeem finishing in second place.

Viewers were mostly delighted with the outcome, as many declared Cameron a worthy champion.

One fan tweeted: “Over the moon cameron won. All my votes didn’t go in vain! He did it for @iamlewisdean and did himself proud! Such a worthy winner. Thrilled”

While another wrote: “What a way to end. Cameron’s journey has been amazing. Loved seeing him come out of his shell and into his own over the last few weeks! Well done Cameron”

On being crowned the last-ever winner of Big Brother on Channel 5, Cameron told presenter Emma Willis in his exit interview: “I’ve won as much for myself as I have for everyone else. I love them all to bits… It was like a dream to get in. I don’t know what to call this. The final is a dream. This is like a miracle.”

As Emma then said her emotional goodbye to the audience and thanked everyone who’s been involved in the show over the last 18 years, the Big Brother house turned off its lights for potentially the last time ever.
