A cyclist has been barely spotted on dashcam travelling down a pitch black country lane in Euxton, Lancashire. 

John C was driving along the country road towards a main road when a cyclist dressed in dark clothing is only visible due to the headlights of another car. 

The dark figure of the cyclist is seen to be wearing no helmet or hi vis top and doesn’t have a light on their bike.

In the video, the pitch black road highlights parked cars when passing them. 

When the car approaches Euxton Juction from Pear Tree Lane, a cyclist figure can be seen entering the country road. 

As they cycle past John, the cyclist disappears into the darkness of the unlit road. 

John C commented: ‘Clocks change and some people on bikes still don’t get it? For £25 you can get a hi vis top and a set of reasonable lights. This individual dressed in dark clothing, no helmet and no light… I despair as a keen cyclist myself.’
