Leicester helicopter crash: Premier League announce tribute plans after tragic death of Foxes owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha

The Thai billionaire, and four other people on board, tragically died last Saturday evening after his helicopter crashed outside the King Power Stadium.

There had been some reports that Leicester's clash at Cardiff City on Saturday may be postponed – but the match will go ahead, the club confirmed.

The Premier League have also confirmed their plans, announcing the game will continue as planned after "consultation with Leicester".

A statement read: "As a mark of respect, players will wear black armbands at all Premier League fixtures this weekend.

"Clubs will also pay tribute by holding a minute’s silence."

A number of Premier League clubs will also be marking Remembrance Day during the weekend fixtures.

Mourners have continued to visit the King Power Stadium to lay flowers and leave tributes to the late owner.

On Tuesday night, hundreds broke out in song as they stood paying their respects.

The group chanted "Champions of England, you made us sing that" in a touching tribute to how he had delivered an unthinkable Premier League title to the club in 2016.
