Teen wanted for sexually assaulting 11-year-old leaps to his death

A teen wanted by cops for trying to rape an 11-year-old in a Bronx park bathroom jumped to his death from his mother’s building before they could find him, police sources said.

Zedin Agusto, 16, leaped to his death from 645 Westchester Ave. around 4:30 p.m. Monday, as police searched for him, the sources said.

The victim was playing basketball at Hilton White Park on East 163rd Street and Cauldwell Avenue around 11 a.m. Oct. 14 when she met the teen who attacked her. He asked her to enter the public restroom and sexually assaulted her before fleeing, cops said.

The victim reported the incident after returning home. She was taken to Montefiore Medical Center, where she was treated for her injuries and released. Cops released a sketch based on the girl’s description.

The teen, who attended Wings Academy High School, looks just like the sketch, a police source said.

“I guess he was afraid to go to jail,” the source said.
