The 32-year-old reunited with his Game Of Thrones co-stars to support Maisie Williams in her new play to give fans the Stark reunion they've long since been waiting for.
The two, who played Robb and Arya Stark in the hit fantasy epic, posed for pictures with co-star Kit Harington after the press night of her new play, I And You, at Hampstead Theatre in London.
The actors have not starred in the same scene together since Game of Thrones' first season, and while both Maisie and Kit are set to appear in the long-awaited final season, Richard endured a shocking death during the Red Wedding in season three.
After the reunion, Maisie posted a photo on her Instagram showing the former King in the North locked in a tight embrace with his on-screen sibling.
Richard also shared the photo, with the caption, "Last night watching @maisie_williams being brilliant in her new play."
While a reappearance by Robb Stark may be out of the question, fans believe the final season of Game Of Thrones is likely to explore the identity of Kit's character, Jon Snow.
Kit admitted that he cried when he read the final script, and also revealed that there was a secret episode of the show that will never air.
The TV series overtook George RR Martin's novels long ago this hasn't stopped fans speculating feverishly over who will eventually take the Iron Throne.
We'll presumably find out who the Night King really is (one popular theory is that it's none other than plucky child turned creepy sage Bran Stark).
Unfortunately for fans desperate to find out who takes the Iron Throne, we don't yet know the exact start date for Game of Thrones' final series.
However, it has been confirmed the much-anticipated show will not return until 2019.
