After a grueling series that turned Manny Machado into Public Enemy No. 1 in Milwaukee, don't expect the Dodgers star to get much better treatment in Boston.
Machado, who spent seven seasons with the Orioles, has plenty of history against the Red Sox, notably a drawn-out beef last season that saw both teams throw at hitters and Machado going on a fiery, profane rant about the Boston organization.
On April 21, 2017, Machado slid trying to break up a double play and caught Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia. The former AL MVP was injured on the play and has dealt with knee problems since.
