Sarah Silverman says her encounter with Louis C.K. was different: ‘We were peers’

The #MeToo movement isn’t quite finished yet with Louis C.K., and Sarah Silverman isn’t helping.

Just as the shamed comedian is trying to mount a comeback (and getting pushback), Silverman went on Howard Stern’s radio show and said C.K. used to masturbate in front of her, too, but with her permission.

“I don’t know if I’m going to regret saying this,” Silverman said. “I’ve known Louis forever, I’m not making excuses for him. Please don’t take this that way. We are peers. We are equals. When we were kids, and he asked if he could masturbate in front of me.”

Sometimes she said yes, sometimes not, she told Stern.

“We talked openly,” she said of her consensual experience with the comic. “We were letting our freak flags fly.”

Silverman was on Stern’s Sirius radio show to promote her show, “I Love You, America,” and ended up talking about a variety of topics, including her experiences with pal and fellow comedian C.K.
