Amy Schumer Is Pregnant!

2018 is shaping up to be a great year for Amy Schumer! The Emmy winner is expecting her first child with her husband, Chris Fischer.

Schumer, 37, directed fans to former CNN White House correspondent Jessica Yellin’s Instagram page on Monday, October 22, to share her announcement.

“About to announce some exciting news on @jessicayellin insta page. Please follow her for up to the minute #newsnotnoise she breaks down what’s really going on,” the comedian captioned a Photoshopped pic of her and her husband as pregnant Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry. “She agreed to post a lil noise today for me! Follow her and VOTE!!”

On Yellin’s Instagram Story, she congratulated Schumer and shared “voting recommendations.” At the bottom, the note read, “I’m pregnant — Amy Schumer.”

The pregnancy news comes eight months after Us revealed that the couple tied the knot in Malibu. They had been dating for just a few months before the surprise February 13 ceremony, which was attended by celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, David Spade, Judd Apatow and Larry David.

“Most of the guests found out the wedding was happening from a text Amy sent [two days before],” a source told Us at the time. “It was, ‘Hey, this is happening. If you can make it, great. If not, no worries.’”

Schumer and the Beetlebung Farm Cookbook author, 38, were introduced by her assistant, who is his sister. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2018 Tony Awards in New York City on June 10.

The Trainwreck star sparked pregnancy rumors in July after she posted a photo on Instagram of herself in a red dress with her arms near her stomach. Minutes later, she cleared up the confusion in a second post.

“I am not pregnant,” she clarified at the time. “It looked like I was pointing to a bump or something, but I’m not. [My friend] Lessa Evans and I have created a clothing line for all sizes and shapes at a chill price point. That’s what I was trying to allude to, but thank you for thinking of my womb.”

Schumer was recently detained in Washington, D.C., while protesting newly minted Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
