Cher Lloyd could barely hold back the tears as she descibe the emotional journey of when she gave birth to her daughter, Delilah-Rae.
The former X Factor star amazed the judges in 2010 wit her "swagger," but took a break from the music scene to get married and become a mum, giving birth to her daughter in May 2018.
As she told the Loose Women panel of her journey to childbirth, she become emotional and tried desperately to hold back tears as she explained how deeply she loved her baby girl.
Cher said: "Before I was obviously petrified but luckily I had the most amazing midwife – she was absolutely fantastic and it was the best I could have asked for.
"Just me and my husband – it was just the most amazing moment of my life. I just feel like when you see the baby you think, ‘I’m gonna love you forever’ and it’s just the most amazing feeling."
Asked about her husband Craig, who she met aged 18, she said: "It’s like a fairytale, obviously every marriage has it’s ups and downs but it’s like fairytale with us."
Cher boasted of how her baby has been sleeping through the night since only a few weeks old, and how she has had to tone down her made up look in order to look after the baby.
She said: "The make up – I mean of course I still wear lots of make up but usually I’m trying not to get it on the baby’s clothes because it’s a pain to get out isn’t it? But today I can be a bit glam."
The singer also lived over in LA for four years with her hubby before returning to have her little one, saying it was like "a dream" to be over there, as she only moved there with a suitcase and a dream.
Her new single, which she proceeds an album, has been written by Cher as she dedicated herself to writing new music for the last four years.
She revealed she wants to "get her sparkle bakc" after feeling the music industry sadly "took the light out of her," but is fighting back by choose every part of her work herself.
