Who is Alan Davies and how old is he?
Born March 6, 1966, Alan Roger Davies is an English stand-up comedian, writer and actor.
The 52-year-old studied Drama and Theatre at the University of Kent and was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2003.
The up-and-coming stand-up comic was cast as the title role in BBC's BAFTA award-winning series Jonathan Creek in 1997 which catapulted him into mainstream fame.
Alan is also known for his role as a permanent panellist on BBC Two quiz game QI as well as his part in the 2008 film, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.

Alan has been married to author and former literary agent Katie Maskell since 2007.
The two met backstage at a taping of QI in 2005 and were engaged six months later.
