Add Tia Mowry-Hardrict to the growing list of celebrity moms that want to normalize public breast-feeding. The Sister, Sister alum, 40, shared a picture of herself nursing 5-month-old daughter Cairo on Tuesday, October 9.
“This is love,” Mowry-Hardrict captioned her makeup-free selfie on Instagram. The star and her husband, Cory Hardrict, are also parents of son Cree, 7.
The Whole New You cookbook author revealed in August that parenthood the second time around has been a totally different experience. “I feel like girls are so much smarter,” Mowry-Hardrict admitted to Us Weekly. She then boasted that her infant was almost holding her own bottle. “She literally said, ‘Hi!’ the other day,” the proud mom raved. “She’s so sweet. She’s doing great. I’m obsessed with putting her in tutus.”
Both Mowry-Hardrict and the American Sniper actor, 38, could not be more proud of their children — especially Cree. “He is amazing. He has been such a big help,” gushed the TV personality. “He is always holding his sister, feeding her, grabbing things when I need them.”
Watching Cree grow up is hard for Mowry-Hardrict, who admits she has “attachment problems.” Last summer, the actress was a mess before Cree went to stay with his grandparents when she had work. “They took him for the weekend and I was literally on the verge of canceling. I almost didn’t go,” she told Us at the time. “I was, like, to my son, ‘I’m gonna miss you!’ My son was, like, ‘ Mommy, it’s going to be OK.’”
The couple tied the knot in 2008.
