Inside BD Wong’s Brooklyn wedding

After dating for almost nine years, BD Wong and Richert Schnorr got married in front of 250 guests at Giando on the Water in Williamsburg on Sunday.

Referring to the ceremony, that played out against a backdrop of the Manhattan skyline, Wong’s brother, Brian, later said, “It was as if Howard planned it,” referring to Wong’s role as the assistant to the wedding planner, Howard Weinstein (Played by Martin Short,) in “Father of the Bride.”

Sheera Ben-David officiated, who in 2012, also officiated the wedding of Wong’s ex-partner, producer Richie Jackson, to Jordan Roth, president of Jujamcyn Theaters, both of whom were in attendance Sunday.

The grooms solved the issue of the “bride’s” grand entrance by showing up at the altar at the same time, both seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

Ben-David sang “Making a Home” from “Falsettos.”

Four young performers from the nonprofit organization Rosie’s Theater Kids, founded by Rosie O’Donnell, participated in the ceremony. (Wong sits on the board, and Rosie was also a guest.)

Richert wore a gold lame Hugo Boss dinner jacket, and Wong wore a ’70s vintage black velvet three piece suit from his “Baldwin Pennypacker” wardrobe for his guest appearance on “American Horror Story: Apolcalypse,” which actually will appear in this Wednesday night’s episode.

The reception’s DJ, Ana Matronic, performed her Scissor Sisters hit “Let’s Have a Kiki” live.

Also among the guests were Stephanie March (Law & Order: SVU) with husband Dan Benton, Dominic Fumusa (“Nurse Jackie”) and his wife Ilana Levine (Lucy to Wong’s Linus in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown on Broadway 20 years ago), Lori Tan Chinn (“Orange Is the New Black”), Jason Tam (“Jesus Christ Superstar Live” and “Be More Chill”), Deborah S. Craig (“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”), Rosa Salazar (“Alita: Battle Runner,” “Maze Runner”), Sharon Wheatley (“Come From Away”), Clarke Thorell (“My Fair Lady”), Grant Chang (“Mr. Robot), Joshua Castille (“Spring Awakening”), film actor Ally Sheedy, and Tony winner Nikki M. James (“The Book of Mormon”).
