The Graham Norton Show welcomes Star Trek icon and a cinema legend

The Graham Norton Show has announced its latest line-up, with none other than Star Trek and Wonder Woman actor Chris Pine joining the sofa.

The October 19 episode will also welcome cinema legend Sir Michael Caine as he promotes his new memoir Blowing the Bloody Doors Off: And Other Lessons in Life.

Joining them will be Mr Robot star Rami Malek, who will talk about playing Freddie Mercury in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as Forrest Gump actress Sally Field, who will discuss her new memoir In Pieces. Music will come from Christine and the Queens, performing new single ‘5 Dollars’.

Their episode comes a week after Graham welcomes the world’s biggest boyband – aka BTS – alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Jamie Dornan, Rosamund Pike and Harry Connick Jr.

And if that wasn’t enough, this Friday will see one of the show’s coolest guests, Jeff Goldblum, return to no doubt be as eccentric as ever. Joining him on the sofa is Rowan Atkinson, Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis, Gary Barlow and Imelda May.

Last Friday was the series opener, with one of the starriest line-ups yet in Doctor Who‘s Jodie Whittaker, A Star Is Born‘s Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, and First Man‘s Ryan Gosling.

Of course, we know that Graham is able to bag the best guests in the business, and he recently let us in on his secret.

“In the end, people are revealed not in their answers but in their responses. Ryan Gosling, for instance, really laughing at Greg Davies telling a story – you actually see him,” he said.

“A man on a couch laughing like a drain. I prefer that to trying to poke someone with a stick. There’s a place for those kind of interviews, but not on my show. Piers Morgan’s Life Stories,we’re not.”

The Graham Norton Show continues this Friday (October 5) at 10.35pm on BBC One.
