Throughout the week, viewers will become super sleuths as they must work out what happened at the masquerade ball through a series of police interviews conducted in different episodes in the week.
Before the ball, Graham Foster becomes suspicious of what Joe is up to as the finishing touches are being done for the Home Farm charity ball.
Soon, Graham puts two and two together and realises what Joe is planning, so heads to the gates of a prison to collect his secret co-conspirator: Kim Tate.
He fills her in on the latest news about what he believes Joe is up to, but suddenly becomes shocked when Kim tells him it’s about time he got rid of Joe.
Meanwhile, Joe arrives at the hospital to speak to Debbie Dingle, taking her to the hospital chapel.
He announces to her they are getting married straight away, but later Cain arrives and Debbie tries not to tell her dad what is going on.
She eventually opens up, but warns him their relationship will be over is he tries to stop her.
Later, she gets changed into her dress and is ready for a future with Joe, but on trying to contact him she finds he is not answering – and then leaves her waiting for him at the altar.
Back at Home Farm, Graham looks crestfallen at wat he has to do to Joe, and waits for him with a garotte to strangle him.
Joe is shocked to find Graham has worked out all his plans, but in a moment of clarity Graham breaks his promise to Kim, producing a bag of £100,000 for Joe, before telling him he must leave soon to avoid the drama which will come later.
Also throughout the week, Ross packs a bag and fills it with duct tape, rope and plastic ties, and heads up to Home Farm to fulfil his mission, with drugs coarsing through his veins.
Soon he is confronted by a suspicious Moira, who has worked out what he is planning and tries to talk him out of it.
He puts her off the scent and soon hs spots Simon and they are quickly facing up against one another – and are finally alone.
He goes to attack him when Moira returns to them, but Ross is undeterred and drags Simon to the edge of the lake – is this the end for Simon and will Ross get the truth he deserves?
Back at the ball, most of the villagers are in attendance and get competitive as they star bidding in the auction.
Pollard is forced by Faith to bid for a very fancy soprts car, and soon the guests gather outside to see the car be delivered at the house.
Soon, the car pulls up but the guests are utterly aghast to see Kim step out, as she reveals she is the true owner of Home Farm.
Of course, within minutes Kim starts offending her guests and making solid enemies with her acid tongue, before she heads upstairs.
But partygoers are suddenly shocked by a piercing scream, as they see Kim tumble down the stars and crash into the champagne fountain below.
Who pushed her and will she live to tell the tale?
