Lady Gaga Can't Stop, Won't Stop Giving Us Iconic Red Carpet Looks

Another day, another red carpet slay for Lady Gaga on the A Star Is Born press tour. The film’s latest premiere, held in London, delivered one of Gaga’s greatest gown moments on the red carpet tour thus far (and if you’ve seen some of her looks, you know that’s saying a lot).

The singer-turned-actress stepped out in a Shakespearean-inspired Alexander McQueen gown encrusted with gold and pearl beading. Featuring a high ruffle neck, billowing off-the-shoulder sleeves, and a full skirt, the ornate gown is an archival runway look from McQueen’s Fall 2013 collection, which was designed by current creative director Sarah Burton.

Of course, it’s especially fitting that Gaga opted to wear McQueen for the UK premiere of A Star Is Born tour, given the designer’s lasting impact on British fashion. It’s also a fitting choice given that Lady Gaga and Lee McQueen were very close friends before the designer’s tragic passing in 2010.

Gaga helped McQueen’s famous Armadillo boots gain global traction after wearing them in her 2009 music video for “Bad Romance.” In fact, she wore his designs for many of her memorable looks that helped define her avant-garde and over-the-top style.

This latest look is just one of many red carpet masterpieces that Gaga has gifted us with while on the A Star Is Born press tour. After making a grand debut at the Venice Film Festival, Gaga has churned out showstopping couture gowns by Valentino, Givenchy, and more along the way.

A Star Is Born, which is already garnering Oscar-buzz, hits theaters on October 5 in the US. And while we never, ever want this press tour of legendary red carpet looks to end, Gaga’s style along the way has made us more than excited to see her breakout role in the film.
