Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig Welcome First Child Together

Rachel Weisz and her husband of seven years, Daniel Craig, have welcomed their first child together, Us Weekly can confirm.

The couple welcomed a baby girl, adding to their blended family of four — Weisz shares son Henry, 11, with ex Darren Aronofsky, while Craig shares daughter Ella, 25, with ex-wife Fiona Loudon.

The Favourite actress opened up about the family’s shared excitement to E! News in April, saying, “We are ready. Very excited,” adding in reference to Henry and Ella, “They are really excited.”

She also spoke to her newborn’s American and English upbringing to Stephen Colbert on The Late Show that same month, joking of her baby, “’I suppose it will have to be bilingual!”

The Oscar winner, 48, revealed she and the James Bond star, 50, were expecting on April 20 with a profile published in the New York Times. “I’ll be showing soon,” she said at the time. “Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery.”

Days later, Weisz debuted her baby bump on April 23 in a Sonia Rykiel knit maxi dress while out and about in New York City.

The star is one of several celebs who welcomed a baby later in life: Geena Davis gave birth to twins at 48 and Janet Jackson had her first child at the age of 50.
