Jermaine Pennant and his wife Alice Goodwin put on a defiant display of solidarity as they attended the glamorous Reality TV Awards.
The married couple risked an awkward run-in with Jermaine’s former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chloe Ayling – who arrived on the red carpet just minutes after them.
A loved-up Jermaine and Alice appeared to put the recent drama behind them as they smooched for the cameras ahead of their entrance.
Model Alice turned on the glamour in a thigh-skimming gold mini dress, that also featured a plunging neckline.
While former footballer Jermaine walked proudly beside her in a sharp monochrome suit.
Jermaine stole headlines for his reality TV debut on Celebrity Big Brother thanks to his close relationship with kidnapped model Chloe Ayling.
The pair had flirted up a storm in the house – with Jermaine writing ‘love’ notes and sharing a bed with Chloe, despite wife-of-four years Alice watching on the outside world.
After the final, 21-year-old Chloe sensationally claimed she and Jermaine had also ‘got intimate’ in bed but the ‘physical’ act was missed by the cameras.
Just days after Chloe’s bombshell revelation she awkwardly joined the couple, and many other guests, at the Reality TV Awards in London.
Chloe commanded attention on her arrival in a floorlength red gown that featured a perilously high splt.
A the weekend Chloe told The Sun she and Jermaine got ‘intimate’ under the covers but managed to disguise what was going on from the prying cameras.
She said: "We played the bed swapping game and I ended up with Jermaine.
"I was wearing a hoodie and knickers and we got under the covers – we each had our own duvet – and we knew we had to be discreet because all the cameras where on us.
"I felt his hands on me and I kind of laughed because I wasn’t expecting it but I let him carry on because at that point I liked him and thought he was single."
The ex Arsenal star had previously told Chloe he was in a relationship but it was ‘f*cked."
It was only when Chloe was evicted from the show that she discovered that Jermaine was secretly married and she branded him ‘disgusting.’
But despite hitting the headlines with Chloe, Jermaine appears to have made-up with his model wife Alice.
Jermaine even treated her to some more diamonds in her wedding ring after the Channel 5 reality show’s finale.
