Katie visited Jamie in Atlanta, where he's currently filming his new movie Just Mercy, which is about a civil rights defence attorney who recounts the case of a condemned death row prisoner whom he fought to free.
The former Dawson's Creek star – who raises daughter Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise – was wearing light pink leggings, grey and pink trainers and a long white and black Nike T-shirt.
Jamie wore a white T-shirt, white gym leggings, grey shorts and white Nike trainers.
Holmes was seen wiping the sweat from her forehead with her T-shirt.
The Hollywood couple were first romantically linked five years ago, but spent years claiming to just be friends.
Two years ago, Jamie was forced to deny dating Katie when a picture emerged of the two of them holding hands in a recording studio.
They only went public in 2017 when pictures emerged of them walking along a beach.
Katie was said to have been banned from having a public relationship under the strict terms of her quickie divorce from superstar Tom.
She was said to have had gone to extraordinary lengths to keep relationship with Jamie a secret.
Earlier this year, Katie was forced to deny claims she had dumped Dreamgirls star Jamie over "trust issues".
It was claimed Katie called it quits with Jamie after reports he had been dating other women during their time together.
A source said: "Katie just couldn’t get over her trust issues," but Katie's representative Leslie Sloane told People it was "100 per cent untrue".
